Priea Parsan Jewelry has established itself as brand of unique and eclectic adornments of the finest quality.  Each piece is one-of-a-kind and individually handcrafted using natural and rare gems from across the globe.  The founder and designer, Priea Parsan, draws upon an array of cultural influences to inspire her jewelry creations, including those of her hometown of New York City - the quintessential melting pot and fashion capital of the world, her vibrant Caribbean culture, her rich Indian heritage and her awe-inspiring travels to exotic locales such as Bali, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, Argentina and Thailand.  For example, you will see Priea’s use of the stunning blue Lapis Lazuli stone which is indigenous to Argentina and Afghanistan, the metallic Pyrite crystal from Italy and the Ohm - the symbol of peace and tranquility from the Indian sub-continent. 

Priea Parsan Jewelry has recently made it into the mainstream media and has been showcased on the red carpet at high-profile events such as the BET Awards where it was worn by BET host / BBC correspondent, Sharon Carpenter.  The line has also been featured in multiple fashion shows and photo-shoots and was recently requested for a major Heineken commercial. 

About Priea Parsan: 

Priea Parsan was born and raised in New York City and has established a successful career for herself in the world of Information Technology (IT), yet she has always had a strong passion and flair for fashion and accessories.  Her love of everything stylish drew her to major publishing company Conde Nast (Vogue, Glamour, Lucky, GQ) where she work as part of their digital media division as well as the top wedding website and magazine, The Knot. Priea found an outlet to express her own fashion creativity and talent when she began designing jewelry 7 years ago.  She decided to further her innate skills by taking an intense jewelry design course at New York’s renowned Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).  After making pieces for family and friends, word of mouth spread about the beauty and unique quality of her work, prompting her to take her hobby to the next level.  Shortly after, Priea Parsan, Inc. was founded, allowing the designer to share her gift for jewelry design with the rest of the world.
